The IoB experience at the World Biomaterials Congress 2016 in Montreal

The World Biomaterials Congress 2016 (WBC 2016) was the largest conference gathering biomaterial researchers, being on track to be the largest World Biomaterials Congress to-date. With over 1,200 oral presentations, 2,400 poster presentations and 3,500 abstracts submitted by over 60 countries, the congress run for 5 days and included 5 plenary lectures with internationally renowned scientists and 13 concurrent parallel sessions (39 symposia with world-leading keynote speakers and 74 general sessions). There were also many social activities for students to learn and enjoy!
IoB was represented at WBC 2016 by a diverse group of academic members and students. They presented 8 oral communications, 12 posters and organized and 1 Lunch & learn session.
IoB was also present in the Exhibit Area (booth 900) where its activities and achievements were showcased to thousands of visitors.
